Prescott Boys Basketball Sub-Section Quarterfinal against Amery. Amery took down Somerset 86-68 to set up the matchup tomorrow at Prescott, and the Cardinals will have to try and match the result from the previous two contests against the Warriors, with Prescott winning 77-67 at home back in December and coming back after a first half deficit to win 56-47 in late January. The Cardinals are on a six-game winning streak to end the season, and with a win would advance to the sub-section semifinals on Saturday at home against the winner of Osceola and Ellsworth.
Prescott has the advantage over Amery on the defensive end, allowing 11 less points per game than the Warriors, and are a better passing, shooting, and rebounding team than Amery, but the Warriors do have an advantage on turnovers committing just 11 per game.
The Cardinals will have to control Amery standout Keaton Wallon, who has provided much of the offense for Amery this season averaging 26.4 points per game and 10.2 rebounds, to go along with 6.2 assists.
