The Prescott boys basketball team fell behind early against Amery 11-0, but would recover to advance to the sectional semifinal tonight with a 68-55 victory as heard live on KDWA. The Cardinals slow start saw them answer with a 19-7 run to lead 19-8, but trailed at halftime 27-24. Trailing 38-35 with 11 minutes to go, Prescott hit three shots from beyond the arc to take a 44-38 lead and would not look back. Emmett Otto led the way with 19 points. The Cardinals advance to the section semifinal tonight against Osceola, who took down Ellsworth 67-62. Tip off from Prescott High School is at 7pm.
