The Hastings Arts and Culture Commission will meet Wednesday evening, August 12, to discuss several
issues related to arts funding and public art in the community.
The commission is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Volunteer Room.
Among the items on the agenda is a review of a draft rubric for the Arts and Culture Grant Program. Commissioners will also discuss the Municipal Art and Placemaking Fund and consider a public art assessment.
The meeting will also include a report and information on a plaque for the Spiral Bridge painting.
The agenda includes the commission to approve its July 8 meeting minutes, review bills and the budget, and handle other regular business before adjourning.
