From the City of Hastings, a Neighborhood Infrastructure Improvements project update along Pleasant Drive and
4th Street.
Crews recently completed water main and sanitary sewer upgrades on Pleasant Drive between Westview Drive and 4th Street, while storm sewer work continued between Highway 55 and Westview Drive.
For the week of July 13, crews are expected to finish the storm sewer improvements, and the intersection of Pleasant Drive and 4th Street will remain closed through the middle of next week.
Residents on Pleasant Drive may need to use Westview Drive to access their homes during work hours if access from Highway 55 is unavailable.
Road excavation and base preparation will also continue south of Westview Drive.
The city says assessment statements have been mailed to property owners along 4th Street and Pleasant Drive. Anyone who has not received one should contact the Hastings Engineering Department.
