The Hastings Planning Commission met in regular session Monday evening.
The commission reviewed one item on the agenda, a special use permit for auto sales in the C-2 District for Tri Rivers Chevrolet.
According to staff reports, a special use permit may have been initially issued, but the action was never referenced in the project file, and the parties involved in the current property sale would like an official recognition of the special use permit.
The Planning Commission approved the item 5-0, and the item will be forwarded to the Hastings City Council for consideration on June 15th.
The commission also heard reports from city staff on current projects.
