For the week of April 20, an update regarding the Central Water Treatment Plant and Raw Watermain Project.
According to the City of Hastings, the contractor will commence with restoration and cleanup in the project area. Roadway excavations will be restored, and the concrete curbs and sidewalks will be replaced to prepare for the installation of the new pavement surface.
Turf seeding will take place at the end of April or early May.
And remember, the City of Hastings requests that folks refrain from parking on streets under construction from 7am to 7pm.
During construction hours of 7am to 7pm driving access will be maintained, but expect delays.
