Open House Regarding Pedestrian Crossing

Residents are invited to provide their input and ask questions about the Highway 110 crossing project during a public open house from 5-7pm Wednesday, October 21st at the Henry Sibley High School in Mendota Heights. The project, conducted by Dakota County, the city of Mendota Heights and SRF Consulting, will construct a pedestrian crossing for Highway 110. During the open house, three concepts for the crossing will be discussed: a greenway tunnel under Highway 110, highway 110 bridges over the Greenway, and a greenway bridge over Highway 110. MnDOT will also be available to answer questions about the Highway 110 Preservation Project. The trail crossing will be the first installation of the Mendota to Lebanon Hills Greenway. This crossing will provide a safe, continuous trail segment across the highway and connection into the River to River Greenway as well as provide an additional safe crossing option for local users. Attendees may review the concepts and provide feedback. For more information, visit www.dakotacounty.us and search Highway 110.
