Prescott Women Killed

Early Saturday morning was the scene of a fatal accident just South of Hudson, Wisconsin. Officers were called to the accident scene on County F near Riverview Drive in Troy South of Hudson to find Joshua D. Sykora, 34, of Hastings lying in the median. Skyora was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle with Brooke A. Baker, 38, of Prescott, riding passenger when the motorcycle, travelling south left the highway and entered the west-side ditch when it overturned. Baker, mother of 2 and part owner of Affordable Elegance Rental in Hastings, was pronounced dead at the scene. Sykora was taken to first to Hudson Hospital and then to transported to Regions Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash. Neither passenger was wearing a helmet.
