With the start of classes in Prescott on Thursday, September 1st, parents are encouraged to check student bus assignments prior to the first day. Bus routes have now been posted for students in the Prescott school district. To view your childs route, visit the www.prescott.k12.wi.us website and select the transportation page. According to the district website, several changes have been made from last years bus numbers and route information. Students riding the bus who live outside the city limits will be expected to walk reasonable distances to bus stops in order to provide efficient transportation for all. Reasonable distances are considered to be one half mile for grades k-5 and seven tenths of a mile for grades 6-12. Walking distance of students within city limits will not exceed 4 blocks. Drivers are not allowed to enter private drives unless there is a safety or medical concern.
