On Friday, April 25th, Hastings Early Childhood Family Education held a Little Learner Scholarship Fundraiser, the Garden of Giving. This is an event that came out of a need. Over the past several years there has been an increase in families needing assistance in attending their programs. The event offered several different ways for people to contribute to the scholarship fund. People could play games, purchase goodies, and even participate in a silent auction. For more information about this event, KDWA spoke with Coordinator of Early Childhood Family and Education and School Readiness, Michelle Thompson.
