The Hastings City Council held their regular scheduled meeting on Monday November,17 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Hastings City Hall. Council Member Hollenbeck was absent. The meeting started off with the swearing in of a new Hastings police officer. Officer Scott Svoboda took the oath of office and his wife pinned his badge as he became Hastings newest police officer.
The City Council then welcomed Bryce Thompson into the fold as the new Public Works Operator for The Great City of Hastings.
The Council then held a public hearing regarding parking restrictions during snow removal operations.
The City Council then heard a resolution on a preliminary and final plat #2014-37 South Pines 8, Tuttle and Sandpiper.
This passed with a 6-0 vote.
The last action item on the agenda was the approval of The Riverfront Renaissance Phase II and Riverfront Pavilion Agreement.
This passed with a 6-0 vote.
