The Hastings Parks and Recreation Commission presented its ideas for renaming Levee Park to the Hastings City Council at its March 16th meeting. The council voted to refer the issue to its Parks and Rec Committee. Hastings Mayor Paul Hicks explains the reason for further discussion on the matter.
