Recap: HFS Fashion Show

Spring styles kicked off a warm Saturday morning as more than 80 fashions were featured at the Mugs and Muffins event at the United Methodist Church. Hastings Rivertown Treasures retail manager Pamela Loicanno arranged more than 15 model volunteers to showcase the wide variety of stylish clothing available at the Hastings Family Service store. Executive director Chris Koop tells KDWA about the reason for the event and how it was received.

March is a critical month due to several factors and Koop gives us an update on the progress so far.

The Style show is part of the effort to raise food and funds as part of March Food Share Month. In another facet of the campaign, Koop tells us about the Pack the Pews at local churches that combines congregational support with the communities they care for.
