An interesting trend has come to Hastings, consisting of a new way to get your hands on reading materials. A small cabinet placed on a post at the edge of a local residence had a steady stream of foot traffic and brought questions concerning the popularity of these Little Free Libraries. We contacted Christina Dunn, a Hastings resident who had some helpful information about this popular destination.
We asked this steward how the practice began. Dunn continues.
Dunn has also started a facebook page Little Free Libraries of Hastings, MN and invite other stewards to leave helpful hints or locations of their favorite location for others to view.
