The people have spoken, and the Hastings City Council has reversed its 4/20 decision to change the name of Levee Park to Riverfront Crossings. Hastings Mayor Paul Hicks spoke to the council about doing what was best for the Riverfront Renaissance.
One of the most vocal opponents of the name change, Don Latch, Commander of Hastings VFW Post 1210, thanked the council for reconsidering the name change.
