Hastings Police were called to a dispute between two Hastings adults, ultimately charging Jeffrey Lee Grinnell, age 35 with two counts of felony assault and one count of false imprisonment which took place June 10th. Officers made the arrest following investigation in which a female accused Grinnell of physical assault and preventing her from leaving the premises following the incident. Hastings Police also charged Diane Elaine Graham aged 67 and Susan Katherine Duncan age 69 with financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult in connection with using the debit cards of two vulnerable adults, residing in a Hastings group home. Several thousand dollars were withdrawn using the cards from video surveillance equipped ATM’s at a nearby casino.
