In continuing coverage of the many events of Hastings Rivertown Days, we checked with Derrick Jaeger from Hastings Family YMCA for a recap of their busy weekend which began with the Glow Run on Thursday Night. Jaeger tells us who took part in the 2nd annual event.
The last day of the festival was time to cheer on the participants of the annual Duck Race. Instead of a multitude of little rubber ducks, the 7 contestants rode giant inflatable ducks and paddled like ducks do, to the finish line, or as close as they could get. Jaeger tells us how this year put a different spin on this daffy competition.
