The Hastings City Council held a public hearing and voted to approve an amendment to city code regarding 1st Floor Residential use in the Downtown Core Zoning District at its October 19th meeting. Hastings Community Development Director John Hinzman explained to those in attendance why the present code does not work with the city’s current master plan.
