Man Charged After Fatal Crash

Charges have been filed in connection with a fatal crash that took place in Inver Grove Heights on Saturday afternoon, October 24th that resulted in the death of Kim Marie Caswell, a 42-year-old mother of three of Roseville. Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Nicholas Anthony Indehar, age 21 of Inver Grove Heights is charged with two counts of Criminal Vehicular Homicide after driving while under the influence at a high rate of speed, crashing into the Caswell vehicle and causing it to hit an electric utility pole which then buckled and fell on the vehicle. Backstrom expressed his sympathies to the family and added this is the second impaired driving death in 2015 in Dakota County. Indehar will face his next hearing in Dakota County Court on November 24th.
