Jaycee Park Fishing Dock Removed for the Season

Crews from the Port Authority used a barge and large crane to dismantle the fishing and boating dock from the east end of Jaycee Park Wednesday afternoon. The task was completed as heavy rains poured down, placing a season ending finality to the popular access to the river. With the proposed improvements to the Great Rivers Landing property, there will be additions to the amenities focused on river use when the dock is reassembled next spring.
