Breaking News- After 14 years as the State Representative for District 54B, Hastings resident Denny McNamara announced he will withdraw from the race for that seat. McNamara cited time away from family as his main reason for the difficult decision. He also endorsed Cottage Grove insurance agent Tony Jurgens to replace him in the Minnesota House. Jurgens, if unapposed, will face DFL endorsed Don Flaten in the November election We will have comments from Representative McNamara on upcoming broadcasts.
