Hastings Police Chief Bryan Schafer has released information that Hastings Police and EMS responded to a Medical Call at a residence on Three Rivers Drive in Hastings at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Monday afternoon, August 15. Once inside the residence, law enforcement personnel discovered two deceased adults, a woman in her 20’s and a man in his 30’s, which are believed to be a couple. This death investigation is being handled by Hastings Police with assistance from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension Crime Lab and Hennepin County Coroners Office. The case remains under investigation and the identities of the couple, the cause and time of death have not been released. Chief Schafer stated the incident does not appear to have any threat to the general public. KDWA will bring you updates on this case as details become available.
