Kuehni Verdict- At 2Pm on Thursday afternoon, August 18th, the 8 man and 4 woman jury returned to the Pierce County Courthouse with their decision of Not Guilty on the first degree charges of intentional homicide. They also reported that the jury was hung, in other words, not unanimous in a decision to convict on 2nd degree charges. They did find Kuehni guilty on the charge of hiding a corpse. The next step for the trial will be to reconvene on Thursday , August 24th to possibly re-try the defendant on second degree charges. Kuehni remains in the Pierce County Jail on a 100,000 bond.
