The Prescott Pirates advanced to this weekend’s Wisconsin Baseball Association State Tournament, with two wins last weekend in Haugen, beating Spooner, 6-5, in 11 innings, followed by Sunday’s 3-2 win over the host squad, Haugen. KDWA’s Nick Tuckner was joined by the Pirates’ Mike Lytle on Tuesday afternoon, as they prepare for Friday’s first round of State, in Merrill, against Osseo.
