Levee Park Arches Installed

The beautiful Autumn day on Wednesday, provided the golden backdrop for a giant crane to finally hoist the massive Black and silver arches into place at the entrance to Levee Park near the river. With emboldened Silver block lettering spelling Hastings Riverwalk at each entrance view and the reverse of the 30 foot span noting Historic Hastings crews were welding the structures in between the brick pillars at Ramsey and at Sibley Streets. Another smaller arch will be installed at Oliver’s Grove, to complete the identification of the nearly 8 year retooling of the gateway and downtown infrastructure that welcome residents and visitors to this river town.
