The Hastings Raiders Girls Hockey Team won their first game of the season on Thursday, as they opened the year with a 4-1 road win over Mahtomedi, at the Saint Croix Valley Rec Center. The Raiders earned goals from Callie McNary, Alexa Harrington, Addie Buck, and Sam Benson, with Harrington and Buck scoring their first-ever Varsity goals. Meanwhile, Freshman Goalie Alayna Kunshier stopped 20 of 21 Zephyr shots in her Varsity debut, in earning New Head Coach Josh Colvin’s first win behind the bench. The Raiders will travel to Section Rival Eastview on Saturday at 2pm on KDWA!
