Though the Miesville Mudhens will not open the Section 1B Playoffs until Friday, the two teams that could be their opponent, will play eachother on Wednesday at Vets’ Park, as the #8 Hastings Hawks host the #9 Austin Blue Sox in a one-game “Wildcard” playoff game, to determine who moves on to take on the defending State Champs, beginning Friday.
