The Planning committe chaired by Mark Vaughan with council members Joe Balsanak and Tina Folch will meet at 5:30 this evening to examine the request from Wise Funeral Home to add a crematory adjacent to its current location at 400 Spring Street. The existing business does not conform to the R-2 Zoning designation with the crematory expansion considered an intensification to the use and not allowed under the present code. The staff will be asked to discuss whether or not to consider amendment to allow the change.
