The Hastings Economic Development and Redevelopment Authority heard from Community Development Director John Hinzman during the Authority?s September 14th meeting regarding a request brought regarding loans dating from 2006 for a downtown business property.
An hour-long presentation detailed the terms of the original agreement, along with the impact of the requests being made. Full forgiveness of the loan was not recommended by staff reviewing the request. After the lengthy discussion, HEDRA Chair Dennis Peine presented the motion for vote.
