Bunny Breakfast Success

A weekend recap of the Hastings Rivertown Lions Club annual Easter Bunny Breakfast included nearly 200 children who attended the new site at SEAS Mother Seton Hall on Saturday Morning. The star attraction was, of course, the Easter Bunny who posed with tiny babies, holiday dressed children and even a few Moms and Dads who look forward to the yearly photo under the arch trimmed with Spring Flowers, Easter eggs and pastel colored decor. One of the club members, Jane Lightbourn, told us how the event moved to SEAS after several years at the KC Hall.

She also shared just how many busy hands were required to make it all come together.

Another highlight was four year old Harper, who held the winning ticket that allowed her to take home a battery powered ride in truck, donated by the family of David Wigness, a Hastings Alumni who passed away last year. Harper didn’t have much to say, but David’s mother Dawn was on hand to congratulate the new little driver.
