Information received Thursday from the Dakota County Sheriff’s department included the name of the the woman found on April 22nd in the Minnesota river near Burnsville. According to the report, Sheriff Tim Leslie said that the remains found encased in ice are those of 41 year old Elizabeth (Beth)Ward Perrault, who was living in Burnsville at the time she was reported missing. Authorities also noted that suspicious circumstances were found in an abandoned apartment rented by Perrault, who was officially reported missing on Februrary 22nd, although her whereabouts could not confirmed after she paid rent on November 1st of 2017. Perrault was a 1995 Graduate of Hastings High School and was the mother of 3 children. Sheriff Leslie informed the media that further tests will need to be conducted to possibly shed more light on how and when she died as well as how she may have come to be found in the small pond that was located about 5 miles north of her apartment in Burnsville.
