Regina Auxilary Honors Volunteers

An awards ceremony was held last week as the Regina Hospital Auxiliary celebrated their 60th year with a Spring Luncheon. An amazing 39 members were recognized for their years of service to Regina Hospital and Retirement Center. Members recognized for Recognized for 5 Years were Marjorie Boyd, Jane Carlson, Kathleen Connelly, Judy Gilbert, Jeanette Meuer, Linda O?Connell, Jerrie Pittenger, Ann Skoglund, and Sharon Stam. Members serving 10 years are Rita Carlson, Mark Dempsey, Helen Fasbender, Elaine Ficker, Sheila Gahler, Mary Ann Kimmes, Kay Maki, Marty McNunn and Virginia Trutna;
Five members have served 15 years each- Mary Braun, Patricia Eiynck, Mary Meuwissen, Mary Agnes Rohr and Joanne Ruedy; Those serving 20 years are Kathryn Biegel, Joanne Hetzel, Claire Mathews, Rose Mary Plath, Edna Siebenaler, Charlotte Stoudt and Kathleen Zeverino; Four members have served a quarter century Ardyce Anderson, Virginia Gardell, Marion Peterson and Mary Roy; Pearl Oehrlein and Peggy Scherff; have been part of the auxilary for 35 years. Marlene Hildebrandt and Mary Ann Teuber have served 40 years and an amazing 45 years of service have been given by Judy Rowe. More than 500 hours are provided each year by these volunteers who perform a wide variety of caring and compassionate tasks that serve patients, their families and the Regina staff.
