An orphaned young woman, named Sida, from South Sudan, in Africa, has come to MN for surgical repair of a shoulder deformity she’s had since birth. Mallorie Smith, who brought Sida to MN explains.
Smith brought Sida to MN and Summit Orthopedics will do the corrective surgery. The surgeon is donating his time and talent, but $30,000 is still needed to cover other costs. A fundraiser will be held at Hope Glen Farm, in Cottage Grove, on October 20th.
