On Wednesday, November 13, members of the first cohort of Hastings participants in the Equity Leadership Institute took a trip to the YMCA’s Equity Innovation Center in downtown Minneapolis to work on developing cultural perspectives within the workforce. The group examined inclusionary and exclusionary behaviors that happen in the workplace and discussed the effects of each. They analyzed the cultural proficiency of each organization and looked for opportunities for improvement.
