The City of Hastings Public Safety Advisory Commission is scheduled to meet for regular business on Thursday, November 21st. Agenda items include updates from the Police and Fire and EMS Departments by Chief Schafer, and Interim Chief Townsend. City Attorney Fluegel will present information regarding the use of side-by-side ATVs on city streets. The Commission is asked to make a recommendation to amend City Code to remove the restriction of use of these vehicles on city streets to disabled persons. The Commission will also confirm the next meeting of the Tobacco 21 Committee for November 25th. The Public Safety Advisory Commission meeting will be held in the Volunteer Room of City Hall at 6:30 PM.
