Today kicks off the donation season in Minnesota with Give to the Max Day, and Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota is one of the many nonprofit organizations taking part in the day of giving. Each year, marketplace scams cost the U.S. economy more than $50 billion according to BBB research, and many of those who fall victim to scams are between 18 and 24 years old. That’s why BBB’s Foundation is working with local high schools and colleges to help educate young adults to become more informed and aware of scams targeting them.
