At Monday’s Hastings City Council meeting, the Council was asked to consider a request to close the Hastings Family Aquatic Center for the summer of 2020. Parks and Recreation Director Chris Jenkins provided the reasoning for the request.
The Council unanimously approved the request to close the Center for 2020, and also approved removing restrictions on playground equipment in City Parks, starting immediately.
