With school back in session, the MN Department of Health has published their updated weekly report with the 14-day Coronavirus case rates by county for use by school districts in developing their plans for Fall 2020. According to the report, for the period of August 16th through the 29th, Dakota County had a reported infection rate of 23.86 per 10,000 residents. The Dakota County COVID dashboard indicates that for September 10th, there were 61 new cases reported in Dakota County, and cumulative deaths since the beginning of the pandemic stand at 120.
