From the Dakota County Jail booking report for September 2nd, 41-year-old Hastings resident Jason Michael Slattum was arrested on September 1st on a charge of 3rd degree murder, by selling or distributing a controlled substance. He was booked into the County Jail at 8 PM, and the investigation into the charge continues. He is being held without bail on the charge, but also faces a charge in Chisago County of felony theft.
