On April 4th, Prescott residents 22-year-old Tayler Garza and 22-year-old Dalton Ford were killed in a tragic car accident at the intersection of County Road 42 and Newton Avenue in Burnsville. Community members and friends of Tayler and Dalton have organized a memorial service for Friday evening at 8 PM at Laney Field, near Malone Intermediate School, where there will be a candle lighting ceremony, a moment of silence and the release of 2 lanterns in their memory. A visitation is also planned for Sunday, April 11th from 11 AM to 1 PM, at the Prescott High School, with a service officiated by Pastor Steven Meyer at 1 PM.
