Monday night’s Hastings City Council meeting included a public hearing for assessments needed to fund the 2020 Neighborhood Infrastructure Improvement Program. City Engineer Ryan Stempski briefed the Council on why the assessment hearing is occurring after the work is already completed.
The Public hearing opened and closed with no comment from residents. The total for the Special Assessments in the Project area amounted to just over $769,000, and passed by unanimous approval of the Council.
