The Hastings Fire and EMS Department recently recognized for staff members for anniversaries with the Department. 29-year Veteran Sandra Boesl serves as a paid-on-call firefighter/EMT, and is one of the most senior members of paid-on-call staff. She is a role-model and mentor to newer employees. 7-year firefighter Joseph Cysiewski currently serves as a full-time engineer/paramedic, and serves on the Fire Department’s EMS Training Committee. He brings a great attitude and a positive approach to his work and his fellow crew members. Alan Gaylor also has 7 years under his belt, and serves as a paid-on-call firefighter/EMT. Alan provides a great, positive, and can-do attitude with a smile that lights up the room. And, Nicole Biegel has served 6 years as a paid-on-call firefighter/EMT. She brings valuable experience from her full-time job as a registered nurse working in an emergency room. The Fire Department thanks these team members for their service to Hastings.
