Senator Karla Bigham of Cottage Grove and Senator Kent Eken of Audubon were appointed as the Senate DFL caucus Minority Whips for the 2022 legislative session as the session opened on Monday. Following the announcement of the appointments, Senator Bigham said that she is grateful for the trust Senate Minority Leader Melisa Lopez Fransen has placed in her to serve as a caucus whip. Senator Bigham also stated that she looks forward to using this position as an opportunity to unite the caucus around the important issues that need action over the coming legislative session.
