The Farmington Fire Department recently congratulated 5 Candidate Firefighters on passing their NFPA 1001 State Certification in Firefighter I & II. Candidates Steve Karsten, Tyler Beaune, J.J. Green, Thomas Jacobson and Nick Read are now working on their NFPA 472 Haz-Mat Operations certification and will be responding to calls by the beginning of April. Department officials say that the candidates are on the home stretch of training and encourage the candidates to keep up the good work.
