At the March 14, 2022 Prescott City Council meeting Jon Strand of CBS2 Engineering presented on the condition of well water quality in the city:
After discussion the Council voted unanimously to proceed with the instillation of a reverse osmosis system for well #3. This project will take approximately 18 months to complete and will allow the city to deliver quality drinking water regardless of fluctuating ground water quality over time.
