Residents of ISD 200 have raised questions regarding the actions of the ISD School Board in the light of recent events at a Middle School PTA Book Sale. At the center of the controversy is a School Board Rule that was passed in December of 2021, Rule 215, that allows the Board to address a member’s “violation of policy, or other forms of misconduct”. Concerned citizens have contacted KDWA asking about usage of this rule to censure some of the members in regards to this rule, and KDWA News will be following up on the story as we gather the facts surrounding this issue.
