The City of Hastings has received an application from KFC requesting site plan approval for a new KFC restaurant with drive through. The restaurant chain has proposed to construct a new facility on the former site of the Freedom Gas Station located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Hwy 61 and 18th Street. The site plan application will go before the City’s Planning Commission for review and recommendation followed by formal action by the City Council.
