A new idea in fundraising for local charities is gaining momentum in Hastings. The Power of 100 Women seeks to donate $10,000 twice a year to charitable organizations in the Hastings area. Founder of The Power of 100 Women Organization, Melissa Freiermuth, provides some background.
The organization invites people to submit nominations to become eligible for a $10,000 cash donation from the organization. Charities are urged to submit applications early.
