The fate of a derelict building in the 400 block of Court Street was placed before the Prescott City Council on Monday evening as they deliberated whether or not to issue a “Raze Order” against the building. City Administrator Matt Wolf recently provided some background for the order.
At Monday evening’s meeting Administrator Wolf advised the Council that the owner would be responsible to raze the building within 30 days, and he also explained how the cost of the action would be handled.
The Council authorized issuing the Raze Order by unanimous roll call vote.
