It has been reported that longtime Hastings Public Schools Assistant Superintendent H. Gordon Anderson passed away on July 3rd at the age of 101. After his retirement from the Hastings School District, serving from 1966 to 1981, Mr. Anderson split his time between Alexandria, MN and Fountain City, AZ and still golfed a few times a week. Mr. Anderson is survived by his daughter Mary Rothfutz and family of North Dakota. Funeral services are Saturday, July 9 at East Union Church in Carver, MN, at 11:00 am.
